Wael Hamad serves as the Owner and President of Strategic Tax & Advisory Solutions Group LLC (STA Solutions Group), located in Sacramento, California. Originally from New York, Wael relocated to Sacramento in 2021 where he has dedicated his career to providing personalized tax services and advisory solutions for both businesses and individuals. With over a decade of expertise in tax compliance, multi-state planning, and CFO-level advisory services, he adopts a forward-thinking, client-centered approach to help clients achieve financial clarity and long-term growth.

Wael began his career at Grant Thornton LLP, one of the world’s leading public accounting firms, where he spent five years building a solid foundation in tax, audit, and advisory services. Leveraging that experience, he moved into leadership roles within the accounting sector before establishing STA Solutions Group to offer more personalized, technology-enabled Strategic Tax Solutions.

He earned his M.S. in Accounting from St. John’s University in New York, blending strong academic accomplishments with practical experience that informs his results-driven style. Currently, Wael specializes in high-level tax strategy, multi-entity planning, and harnessing modern technology to develop efficient, scalable systems for his clients.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Wael is devoted to a lifestyle of growth and balance. He enjoys fitness, listening to podcasts, and exploring ideas that enhance both his personal and professional life. Above all, he treasures time spent with his wife, family, and friends, relationships that are central to his motivation and success.
